Boil pasta in salted water until al dente or semi-hard, drain and place into large bowl.
Heat olive oil in a small skillet, adding onion and garlic. Saute for a few minutes, then add to the cooked pasta along with the cubed Crescenza-Stracchino, ¾ cup of the grated Parmesan and fresh basil. Mix all ingredients well and place mixture into individual oven proof dishes or one large baking dish.
Cover and place into oven for 10 – 15 minutes, allowing cheeses to melt completely. Uncover and serve immediately, topping with the rest of the Parmesan cheese.
