Fontina Pretzel Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. BelGioioso Fontina cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, diced, seeds and inner ribs removed
  • 12 oz. beer
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Toss shredded BelGioioso Fontina with 1/4 cup flour; set aside.

Melt butter over medium heat, add jalapeño pepper and sauté for a few minutes. Stir in 2 Tbsp. flour. Slowly add beer, whisking until smooth. Remove from heat and slowly whisk in Fontina cheese, stirring until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
